What are A1, A2, and B1 Project Implementation Meetings?

Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) are required to implement six projects addressing the needs of Medicaid beneficiaries with diagnosed and undiagnosed behavioral health conditions within the region it serves. Three projects are foundational to the waiver and, therefore, are mandatory for all IDNs. These projects are described in further detail below and include: A1 - Behavioral Health Workforce Capacity Development; A2 - Health Information Technology (HIT) Infrastructure to Support Integration; B1 - Integrated Health. IDNs facilitate A1, A2, and B1 Project Implementation meetings focused on monitoring and measuring progress toward implementation milestones; however, these meetings also serve as an opportunity to identify, collect, and disseminate best practices to share across all networks. IDNs are also responsible for implementing three projects that address needs specific to the communities they serve. A1, A2, and B1 Project Implementation meetings occur monthly.

What are the goals of the A1, A2, and B1 Project Implementation Meetings?

The primary goal of the A1, A2, and B1 Project Implementation meetings is to support the evolution of IDN project implementation to attainment of mandatory project milestones.
